Done.

October 26th, 2008

Mich: I can tell I’m adapting to my boss-role because I snuck in a side door to hide from my employees so I could get some work done. If they saw me, they would have all kinds of emergencies that only I could fix, and then in two days we would run out of paper because they wouldn’t leave me alone long enough to order it. :o)

Shaun: Tell it to your blog.

Sunday!

August 31st, 2008

Today I went to a park with Shaun and Cai. It was really crowded, in the way that I only thought happened in movies.

Apparently it also happens that way in Ellicott City. (Or maybe Columbia?)

This is the best part of the day:

Goodbye, August!

August 25th, 2008

Ha! It turns out I am still really bad at blogging. But, let’s get you connected.

Check out pictures from the trip here! You can keep up with me on Twitter right over this way.

It’s interesting. I only seem to do things here when I have weekdays off from work. I only have weekdays off from work when I am on a trip, or my car is broken. Today my car was broken. It’s feeling better now, for now. At 202,000K, I’m in denial about its life expectancy.

Kind of like with my cat. (Let’s not dwell on that, I might start crying, and that might be awkward.)

Instead, let’s watch some Shaun and Cai videos!

Cody, Wyoming

July 5th, 2008

Last night I went to the Buffalo Bill Cody Stampede Rodeo. (I think that is the right order of the words, it is a long title.) I’d never been to a rodeo before, and wasn’t disappointed. Apparently, there’s something about body slamming a calf into the dirt that is all right with me.

Here are pictures! This should continually be updated, as long as we keep coming across open WiFi signals.

KOA style

July 1st, 2008

I’m checking in from KOA in Mitchell, SD. Today featured eating @ Bob’s Cafe in Sioux Falls, and tomorrow promises the Corn Palace.

Yeah, road trips!

Also!

June 30th, 2008

Hello from the Mac Store in the Mall of America!

Let’s Go!

June 30th, 2008

I’m leaving in less than half an hour on Big Fat Northern Roadtrip 08. The Great Plains will never be the same!

If you’d like a postcard, send me your address. Mich at anonymoussuperhero dot com. Or if you know my gmail, do that.

I can’t wait to be able to go back to sleep!

..Oh! Uh, yeah.

June 26th, 2008

I have been a things-making fool lately. I was telling Colleen the other day that instead of saying “I need to pray about that”, I’m going to start saying “I’m going to craft about that”.

Let’s see, let’s see…

Confession time: I am a selfish blog-reader. I get emotional involved in the blogs that I read, and get upset when they aren’t updated on a regular schedule. I feel as if a regular update isn’t made, I’ve missed out on something I shouldn’t have, like I should be personally updated at all times on the lives of people I don’t even know. That’s so crazy!

Oh, Internet, I love you.

I think I was going to take pictures of all of the things I have been crafting lately, but I haven’t done that yet. If I had, you would be looking at pictures right now, instead of reading more words about pictures that aren’t pictures, but actually words. Taking pictures involves finding good lighting, arranging, uploading, editing, uploading, linking, and really - who do we think I am? Obviously I need to be focusing more on the Writing and Updating. So let’s focus on that for today and see what happens tomorrow, okay?

Awesome.

Dang

April 18th, 2008

I didn’t realize I’d left such a terrible picture on the “front” page for so long.

I am crazy!

Also, I have gotten really into Twitter lately. Check it out, and join in: Mich Maybenot

Crazy Update.

April 1st, 2008

Okay. Since I have managed to finally put pictures not only on to my computer, but onto THE INTERNET, I thought it would be time for an update of pictorial proportions

In December, I made a dress for Shaun’s company’s Christmas Party. I took pictures late at night in the bathroom mirror, but it looked like this, only less bathroom and more better hair. ( I can’t believe I’m about to post this on the internet.)

pretend my head isn't in this.

And then some time went by, and I went to Kansas. My sister got married (she went to Las Vegas and had her wedding broadcasted online, so that everyone she didn’t invite (that would be everyone) could watch from home.) She and her husband (weird.) decided to have a reception, and so I went to Kansas.

Cowboy Hat = Kansas. Try to keep up.

My family and I also celebrated my birthday. I am officially not 24 anymore.

25

My parents were there. Both, at the same time.

My dad's arm made it in, his body did not.

And so was my sister.

Sisters = blurry

I’m not sure why that is so blurry. It can only be because our waiter took the picture, and he took several terrible pictures of us. It’s a good thing my sister isn’t his boss, because he could have been FIRED. OH WAIT, SHE IS TOTALLY HIS BOSS! STAINNNN!

So, uh, then there was a reception that I don’t have pictures of, and I came home. And then it was Birthday Weekend! Shaun and I had our birthdays. We went to the National Orchestra in DC (despite total lack of photographic proof), and had dinner with his family. It turns out we still rock at DDR: Mario Mix.

Terrible angle :o(

So that’s pretty much what I’ve been up to. The end.
